“Wonderful music and delicious tapas!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

Great little spot! The spanish guitar player was great and not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with your partner. We LOVED the stuffed mushrooms and goat cheese. Absolutely delicious! I would stay away from the Sangria and stick to wine or beer though. Enjoy!

“Just Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

We went on Tuesday which is Tango Night. The food was wonderful, and the service superlative. The locals came out to Tango, and it was very entertaining. This is a place not to miss!!

“A bit of Spain in Santa Fe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2014

Recommended by a few, this beautiful Spanish restaurant is a few short blocks from the city square. We looked forward to a meal of tapas and paella. The wait staff was excellent and attentive. The food was very good. I wouldn't say excellent but certainly very good. Pricey at $55/2 paella and with a glass of wine, the bill was slightly over $100. The bar was hopping with many couples doing very beautiful tangos on our way out. The bar would certainly be a fun place to drink and watch, if not dance. A very enjoyable evening.

“Great tapas, wine and jazz”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

El Meson is a very relaxed place with excellent small plates and an incredible selection of wines.
We were there on a Friday night and were treated to "The Three Faces of Jazz" group playing a very nice set while we ate. We were right in front of the stage, yet the music was not too loud and very enjoyable. We (vegetarians) had a great four goat cheese salad with greens, sliced pears, pine nuts with a wonderful balsamic reduction, plus a selection of olives and caperberries. We also really enjoyed the best aged Manchego with quince preserves and the very best oyster mushrooms we have ever had, grilled and marinated in garlic and parsley olive oil. Highly recommend and am sure the rest of the menu is of the same high quality.

“Very Quiet, Very Attractive, Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

Excellent assortment of tapas, and a large and comfortable Spanish-style room to enjoy it in. Everything seemed to be very authentic, and reflective of Andelucia
