There is nothing quite as sincere as a good burger. For years, we Santa Feans have been blessed with not just a good burger, but a great burger at Bobcat Bite. Well, thanks to some ornery landlords, John and Bonnie and son James have moved into town. Right smack dab in the middle of town at Garret's Inn on Old Santa Fe Trail. With the move has come many improvements...expanded seating (you should still expect a reasonable wait during prime hours), longer hours which include a wonderful Santa Fe breakfast, and new items on the menu. All good news. But the best news is that the burgers are still top-notch. They are reviewed in publication after publication as one of the top 5 best burgers in the country. The hamburger steak is out of this world, and, if you can pass up a burger, the ribeye is one of the best you'll ever have. It's all prime beef and the burger is ground fresh every morning.
So I say "thanks" to those ornery landlords for sending Bonnie, John, James, and the whole crew into town! We are fortunate to have many treasures in Sant Fe, but few are as prized as the Eckre family and their amazing eatery!
