Yes this place is busy but there us a reason they actually serve tasty Mexican food not Spanish /New Mexican dishes.
Chile rellanos tasty. Tacos not exciting.
Bar pricey and locales get special attention.
Parking lot always full.
Hours 11-10 daily.

“Very authentic food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013

This restaurant was recommended to us as a local favorite by our hotel. They were so right abut how great it was. Great atmosphere, nice wait staff, and fabulous simple authentic food. I am still thinking about the sopaipilla's and how light and tasty they were with the honey on them. All the food we had was very tasty - great green and red sauces. Definitely see why this place was so busy on a Wednesday evening! Can't imagine how busy it is on the weekends.

“Good food service lacking.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013 via mobile

We stopped by to try tomasita's out partly because of the location as a former train depot and next to the current train depot. I will say they were extremely buzy and the wait was around 20/25 min which was fine. Once we were seated the server merry go round started. An older gentlemen stopped by to take our order and we had to stop him to add our drinks and salsa and chips to the order. As he left he handed a server our ticket and told Him to bring our drinks from that point forward we had an assortment of servers and when we needed drink refills we had to practically knock them down to get there attention. Over all we must have had 6 different servers unfortunately none of them took ownership. The food was great the location was good but the service could use some help. I would go back again due to the great food.

“Lovely Atmosphere, Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

Tomasita's is one of my son's favorite restaurants in Santa Fe and I can see why. First it is conveniently located downtown, the atmosphere is very nice, especially the outdoor seating, lots of parking, and the food is delicious.
We ordered stuffed sopalpillas, chile Relenos, and chicken enchiladas. Everyone enjoyed their choices. There is also a nice wine and beer selection. We will definitely go back.

“Sopipila's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

From the Swirl cocktail, fab margaritas to the plain and stuffed sopapilla's, Tomasita's is a wonderful restaurant.
Busy, local, authentic New Mexican food.
Their green and red chilli is just gorgeous, I always have to order my food christmas style, meaning red and green chilli on my dish.

Great service, great energy, fun bar.

Enjoy.
