We used to stay here for a few days, on our travels through Santa Fe and then decided to spend a month in Santa Fe, each summer. It's the best park in the area... not in town, but just close enough to have everything you need within minutes. I actually call that a positive. The good news is... the location is very peaceful and quiet, great views in all directions, great sunsets, nice dog park, hiking trails. It has lots of funky art throughout the park, and a collection of antique, almost museum-like, machinery on the north edge. It's a great base camp for the SF area. We never run out of things to enjoy exploring this area for a month at a time. They have a great commendable solar panel installation. Nice sites, that a little more concrete would improve, but still better than most. It has a lot of scattered sites that give you some elbow room, and some that are fairly close in rows. The entire family is very friendly and congenial if you take the time to visit with them. The matriarch was once the Attorney General of NM and a very interesting woman to visit with. No road noise, Harley racket, airports, RR or the other usual RV Park sleep killers. Love it here.
