“Fresh Cooked, Tasty, and Delicious Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2014

This café serves some of the best Santa Fe "New Mexician" food their is. All the food is fresh cooked to order which includes small batches of red and green chili, which does improve its taste, and fresh tortillas with each individual prepared meal. Its location is something that one may see and drive by on their way to downtown Santa Fe, it is next to a motel, but that would be a mistake for any diner. We would recommend their breakfast burritos with green chili as well as any of their New Mexician food on their lunch/dinner menu. The staff is extremely friendly and are really attentive to ensure their food is the best it can be. The owner really does know his business and what fresh food is all about.

“Eat at this great restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

You will get exceptional service and food at this extremely clean and spacious restaurant. On a Saturday night, I was able to order the Friday night special, Shrimp Monterey, which was delicious. Cold draft beer and chicken fajitas large enough to share. Very friendly and attentive owner and staff.

“Nice restaurant with super friendly owner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

We ate here on two different weekdays for dinner. The owner was there the first time and toward the end of our second meal there. He's friendly and accommodating and had some special things done to make our meals even better. He and another employee were attentive to our needs and spent time talking to us.

The restaurant is roomy inside, very nicely decorated, and there is an outdoor area for dining in good weather. It was too chilly for that on our visits. The restaurant has a bar. The food was excellent the first time and good the second time -- different cooks? The staff are friendly but not quite as attentive when the owner isn't there. In fairness, we were there during a shift change.

The restaurant is uncrowded, which is nice. It seems to be more populated on weekends when we drive by it. We were visiting the city for a week and enjoyed our first encounter so much, that we returned again before heading home. Cuisine is Mexican.
