Three-night stay was our first at this fine inn. Room was immaculate upon arrival, stocked with reserves of facial tissue, TP and shower supplies. Thoroughly swept and cleaned each day. (I do various exercises on the floor -- and you can tell a lot about a place by how clean the rug is and its smell; this places gets a perfect score.) Room was roomy -- with space on each side and at least six feet from foot of bed to dresser drawer. Compact bathroom with shower, which had a spacious ledge and a shower head with good water pressure, also lots of hot water. Oh, a closet, too, next to the adjacent sink. Incredibly quiet room. Inn was full two of the three nights and we never heard next-door noise. Location is unbelievable, three blocks from the Plaza. Last, the breakfast bar had properly cooked scrambled eggs, good sausage and bacon, potatoes and a variety of toppings, plus a rotation of biscuits and pancake fritters(?, not sure what to call them); biscuits were a bit doughy. Coffee available all the time. Afternoon tea and cookies, too, but we weren't fans of the cookies. Helpful front desk, and very efficient check-in/out. Glad to see it is a popular place so it will stay in business (it's been around for decades, and has been remodeled). We will stay again.
