Wow. Chef Joseph Wrede (of Josephs Table fame in Taos) now has a new home at Tomme's. Everything we tasted here was excellent. For appetizers, we tried the local lamb ribs with curried cauliflower sauce, cooked to perfection. The spinach, apple and sheep's cheese salad was followed by the vegetable savory bread pudding; both delicious and perfectly proportioned. The kids loved the southern fried chicken: supposed to be the best in the city. We tried two excellent desserts: chocolate mezcal bar with lime sorbet (not for you if you don't like dark or white chocolate) and the delicious pancotta with espresso sauce. Max, the owner, is really nice and friendly.
Really no complaints, except that our waiter forgot our wine and a couple plates were chipped. :) A big thumbs up.
