This is an awesome independent cinema. The movies that are presented here are wonderful.
The theater is very comfortable and the projection and sound outstanding. One could not ask for better!

“Great little repertory theater in Santa Fe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

For a small city, Santa Fe has a bunch of movie options. The Screen is a repertory theater, meaning it shows some interesting films that you won't find in the main stream locations. I saw the German film "Barbara" there and it was a very enjoyable experience. You can get fresh coffee and some other stuff in the lobby. This is part of the University Of Santa Fe off of St. Micheal's drive. It's a little hard to find, so be patient.

Great little theater that you'd never expect to be there. We saw a wonderful indpendent film, and the concessions are excellent. Would definitely go again!

“Great movie selections”

Got "hooked" on The Screen during a film noir marathon, and have enjoyed the wonderful films ever since. This is a definite "hidden gem".

“great venue for independent film”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

this facility located on the campus of an art college, shows foreign and independent films. It can be a little hard to find on first visit so go early. They usually have a weekly line upon 3-4 features. The lobby has a small concession stand, but no fresh made popcorn.

The films I have been to so far (maybe 4) have been almost like private screenings, with small crowds, no waiting, low noise levels, etc. I love this! They show consistently interesting films covering a wide range of genres and subjects.

If you like indie film, this is for you.
