“Great Value for your money!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2014

There is not much to say, it is a simple hotel, clean rather new and provided us what we needed while in town. People may say it's out on the edge of town but heck... do people live in a one stop light town? The plaza was no more than 8-10 minutes away, the interstate was a few minutes away and if you are flying into the municipal airport it's really close. Plenty of places close by for your basic necessities and more than several places to eat. The ONLY negative I can say about the place is the air conditioning system. They have these economy monitors which will shut down the system if you are not in the room, I also believe it shuts it down in the middle of the night if you don't get up and about often. Coming back, from a long day out in July you want to find yourself in a nice cool room NOT here. It's going to take time for it to cool off after you open the door and it's not quick enough. Sorry may be minor but for me someone who does not like the heat and lugging a lot of heavy camera gear all over the place when I get back to the comfort of my room I want to be able to relax as quickly as possible, this was not the case.
If you have problems with stairs please ask for a 1st floor room, there is no elevator so carrying bags up and down can be difficult. I am a professional photographer and had a couple of TSA sized carry on's weighing 50# each and a messenger bag that I carried in and out every day plus my luggage when checking in and out.

Room Tip: Ask for 1st floor if you have a problem with stairs or lots of bags.

Only stayed two nights. It's a little far from the Plaza but if you have to drive over and park anyway, it's not too bad. The hotel is on one of the main roads going into town so it's pretty easy to find your way. The staff are very helpful, especially with directions and tips. The rooms are fairly large with comfortable beds, good TV and Wifi. AC worked very well. Seems to be modern and well maintained. There is a free light breakfast provided every morning. Hotels closer to the Plaza appeared to be either not as nice or much more expensive. This hotel was just fine for a short visit.

Typically, when in Santa Fe we stay at higher end hotels near the plaza. But this time we were just passing through and needed a hotel near the interstate and nothing quite so fancy.

This hotel fit the bill perfectly and very much exceeded our expectations. It is a couple of minutes off the interstate and very near a major shopping area with plenty of chain restaurants nearby.

Our room was very nicely sized and very well maintained. Everything was clean and neat. Sleep quality was excellent with a nice mattress and no noises to wake us.

Service was very good and the front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful.

The breakfast buffet was adequate...nothing fancy. Of note is the decor in the breakfast area: The tables and woodwork are very cool Santa Fe-ish.

The price, coupled with the quality, make this a great value hotel.

This hotel is a do-over for us.

It's a good place to stay when visiting Santa Fe. We only stayed overnight but it was clean and well maintained. If I was staying longer I would want a place either closer to the center of town or further out with better views, but for a one night stay it was a good value

Just spent two nights there. Clean and well maintained motel. Fairly large room, smaller bath facilities. Modern large screen TV with many Direct TV channels including some premium channels. Small pool and hot tub were plenty useable. We found the king size bed to be very comfortable and sleep well in a quiet room. Decent breakfast with the usual motel continental breakfast items available including waffles. Location is a 10-15 minute drive from the Plaza. For a rock bottom price, best value we have found in Santa Fe.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor with no elevator so if you find stairs difficult then request a first fl...

What a nice hotel! It's on the right side of main road into Santa Fe. Very attractive entrance with loads of vibrant flowers, plenty of parking. Super nice owners, Amisha & Tapas, who were very accommodating (helped with our luggage, in and out) and kept the breakfast bar filled and clean. We stayed just a single night to meet with relatives for dinner and what a great choice. I chose this hotel based on the previous reviews and they were spot on. We had a very nice, clean 2nd floor room, 2 queens, with an additional alcove with a sofa and extra tables. There were two separate AC/heat units in each area of the room which was marvelous for "white noise" for sleeping (though it was not noisy) and the cooling was great.
Lovely courtyard with a pool and hot tub which we'll try next time.
We've paid more for less in many places and were extremely pleased with this hotel. Great choice, great price for Santa Fe.

Room Tip: Second floor room over-looking the pool area was no problem and afforded lots of light from two wind...

We reserved this hotel based on outstanding reviews on TripAdvisor. The establishment is obviously a budget motel and must be judged as such. The price is very reasonable for a motel in a fairly large state capital. The motel has several positive attributes - the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the breakfast is basic but quite adequate for most people, the location is good (on a major access road to downtown which is reached in a very short drive) and safe (a busy and well lit commercial district). The manager was very helpful and showed us how to get downtown and park close to the major tourist attractions surrounding the central plaza, including the beautiful churches. Our main complaint is that the hotel corridors and rooms have a pervading disagreeable odor. I think it must come from old carpeting which sorely needs to be replaced. I wonder why hotels don't do away with carpet and use more hygienic options such as tile, hardwood, or some of the new vinyl options that are available on the market.
