“I thought this was the econo lodge that became a motel6 (i dint get the memo) that i stayed using points many moons ago (see rev”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

As noted.the motel i thought i was booking had an indoor hot tub.this one however has outdoor.but its the best priced choiced property in town (not counting the quality inn that may be losing its flag soon, based on their absence from the choice site). The breakfast is as noted carborama.but for u waffle folks.thats one up on some econos.my room had fridge micro huge teevee with a lot o channels.a nice lil table & the decor while a little dated is tasteful southwestern ie what i am used to.earth tones kokopelli etc.timeless ya know? Unlike motel 6 the wi fi is complimentary & their is a courtesy pc in the lobby for non mobile tasks.no problems paying cash & they gave me a generous early check-in & check out as a choice elite member. (For you plebes its 230 & 11 respectively) over all a fair deal.there was a concert in town & -i -40was closedeastbound for part of this week yet they didnt gouge anyone even walk ups from what i could gather.i approve of this.rob

“Friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

We enjoyed our one night stay. My wife has stayed there before she likes to stay there. They moved moved to down the street from where the used to be. That location is easy get to. than the old one. The staff was friendly and helpful.

“Good place , great price and people”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

For the money def is the nicest hotel around. The people at the service desk are always nice and helpful. Rooms were good everything is recently remodled so everything was in great shape and seems to be very functionable

Room Tip: Second floor has the smoker smell at times

“Great Motel Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We have stayed in this Motel twice now while in Santa Fe. Both times we were more than pleased with both the accomodations and the service. The rooms are freshly remodled and very clean. The lobby is attractive and served as a marvelous "gathering area" for our group both in the morning as we enjoyed the free breakfast, or in the evening after a day at the capital.
The Staff was just marvelous. Every effort was made by management to make sure our stay was comfortable and productive. This is the only place we will stay in Santa Fe from Now on.

Room Tip: Try the suites real value in an already good hotel

“Good deal for Santa Fe overnight with caveats”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

This is a clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced hotel--especially for Santa Fe. If you're in town for one night or on a budget (and who isn't) it's a good choice. For it's location on Cerillos Road it is fairly quiet. The TV is a nice big flat screen with Direct TV and an easily understood remote. Inside hallways offer enhanced security and privacy. The place looks good! The paint is fresh, the carpet and BED linens are new, and the bathroom is spotless.
A few caveats:
The sink is SMALL with literally no counter space. There are no hooks for robes or shower kits in the bathroom/sink area. Now this is a big one, they have NO luggage carts available! None. With inside entrances that is simply unacceptable. In all fairness, we were offered help with our luggage. After some discussion with the very accommodating 90 lb young woman at the desk who had offered her help, we all decided that a room closer to an exit was the best overall choice. We were fortunate that a room was available. Keep this in mind if you stay here. The continental breakfast was sparse even by budget hotel standards. Plan on breakfast at the Plaza Cafe South that is just down the road unless you're OK with a mostly carbohydrate morning meal.
This budget hotel would have gotten 4 points except for the luggage cart and morning meal issues. These are things that just seem like no-brainers. For budget hotels in Santa Fe, a few dollars more gets you bigger bang for the buck
