First, I believe prospective guests should understand they are signing up for a "casita", not the La Fonda on the square.
I have stayed in many "casitas" in Santa Fe and enjoy them for what they are......refurbished little houses, "casitas", from a bygone era. Simple, comfortable, quiet, with a warm ambiance and free of over the top modern accessories.
Lavender Sunsets is period authentic, well maintained, clean and conveniently located with very easy access to routes to the plaza, the ski lifts, the railyard shopping district, restaurants and sightseeing.
The kitchen is certainly equipped enough to dine in and just a stone's throw from Whole Foods, Trader Joes, local markets and The Farmers Market.
The owners are very accomodating and super nice folks who exhibit great pride in making sure you feel welcome to their place.
Our four day stay was totally enjoyable and very reasonable !
Definitely recommended !
