“Great beer, great pizza... what more could one ask for?”
I like restaurants with an identity, who do only a few things but do them very well. This is one such restaurant. Really, it's more of a bar, and they get pizza from next door. Your options are essentially limited to 12 or so beers on tap (from Marble Brewery) and I think they had several bottled beers from elsewhere, and pizza. When I went, they had a decent range of beers, with lagers, a red ale, IPA, double IPA, unfiltered wheat, etc. I believe you can get a sampler too. The pizza options varied from traditional meats & veggies to crazy seafood or roast duck pizzas. The pizza was a little pricey but the crust was delicious - I especially recommend the blue corn crust.
We sat inside, where there are seating arrangements for larger parties, and we were able to watch sports on the various TVs and talk without needing to shout. It looked like the balcony area was nice too. Overall it was a great experience, my new default for a laid-back guys night out.
