My bride and I needed some noms around lunch time, and had seen lots of people on the deck the night before, so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed.
We managed to find a table on the balcony right away. The view of the plaza is great, and you get some of the best people watching. I started with the double IPA, which was delicious, and my bride had a Walt's White Lie, one of two Breaking Bad themed beers, which was very hoppy. I switched to the Heisenberg's Dark, which was wonderful, and my bride switched over to the Wildflower wheat. She liked it so much, she ordered a second, and I attempted the Farmhouse pale ale. All 5 beers had great notes, depth, and spice, and all were flat out delicious.
We also ordered the Smoked duck pizza, which was fantastic, especially with the green peppercorns intertwining with the beer. The cheeses were very tasty, and it was topped with spinach. It had a garlic sauce and the crust was thin and crisp.
The server had a wealth of knowledge about the beers when asked, but didn't punish you with fancy terms when not asked. He tended to leave you alone, which was fine for us, since we spent 2 hours on the deck people watching and chatting.
Totally great experience, with great beers, great pizza, and great views.
