“Tranquilo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

My wife and I needed a peaceful (tranquilo) place to stay while visiting for my daughters wedding ceremony located outside the city. Ravens Ridge was perfect.
- Great Innkeepers
- Super breakfasts out on the terrace
- Friendly morning conversations with the guests
- Wifi and hot tub
- Comfy bed underlooking the moonroof in the Starlight room. Will never forget waking up at 2AM with a full moon shinning straight on to the bed :-)

Room Tip: Starlight room was great. Ask for Phoebe for additional security.

O.K., I'm probably older than they are, and my husband would object (or more likely, join me), but as an adopted daughter, could I feed the poi and hummingbirds and keep eating those breakfasts forever and a day? Top-notch B&B, what everyone else had to say: ditto. Lucky for us, we have family in the area who can't fit us in, so we will return to this really quite perfect B&B. Love the hosts.

Phyllis and Judge made our seven nights here extremely special. They are wonderful, caring and thoughtful hosts. Every aspect of their "Heaven in the Hills" was superb. We stayed in the Casita and were in a comfortable home. We strolled through the magic of the garden each morning and relished a delightful and innovative breakfast. We enjoyed being up in the beautiful hills, away from the busy city environment but close enough to enjoy everything That Santa Fe has to offer. Thank you Phyllis and Judge.

Just returned from our wonderful stay at Ravens Ridge. We stayed in the Casita and absolutely loved it! Phyllis and Judge are wonderful hosts and did everything they could to make our stay so enjoyable! Incredibly delicious breakfasts each morning, tasty snacks and beverages; star gazing with Judge, and great itineraries provided to guests for touring Santa Fe' and surrounding areas. Location was perfect -- private hidden gem not too far from downtown Santa Fe'. Loved their taste in decor and would definitely recommend this B&B to others; will return! V & B

Room Tip: The Casita gave us a little more room and privacy.

Wow! My wife and I just spent 3 nights in the Starlight Room here. Let me just say this: Remarkable! Beautiful, clean, spacious, well-appointed room. Skylight is an added treat - both day and night. Breakfasts are delicious and inventive. Your hosts, Phyllis and Judge, are the nicest, down to earth people you could ever hope to meet. If you miss this place, you've missed Santa Fe!!!

We just came back from a delightful weekend stay here! Phyllis and Judge are the nicest people and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Our room was the best we have ever stayed at at a bed and breakfast. The place is exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It's even better because its the mountains not in town. It was soooo wonderful and I can't even say enough good things about the place. Beyond clean great food and great location! Great everything stay here because you won't regret it.

Room Tip: We stayed in the la casita and I think it's the biggest room. Awesome room!

When we travel we always stay in a B & B and this one is the best ever!! The Inn Keepers, Phyllis and Judge, are wonderful, warm, friendly and always willing to be of service, from check in to chek out and everything in between, you always feel well taken care of. They suggested places to eat where we would enjoy local color and great food (which is what we like), they couldn't have been more spot on - we enjoyed each and every meal. The best meals however were the breakfasts that they prepared and served wtih love and care, what a great southwest experience every morning, and plenty of food if you are a big eater! The rooms are wonderful, we stayed in the Garden Room with a king sized bed - it was great, every detail was thought of. My husbands favorite thing was the shower, I know an odd item but when you are 6'4" tall you usually don't fit in the showers or have to bend way over to fit under the shower head, not in this room, he could stand, shower and wash his hair with no problem, and the wonderful soap and shampoo and such were just great! I could go on and on and gush about every aspect, but that would take a lot of space so what I will do is tell you to go stay there for yourself - don't forget to ask Judge for a star gazing evening - you will be amazed, or brush up on your knowledge of hummingbirds or Koi fish because Phyllis is a wealth of information, and if you just want to sit, relax and have a cup of tea - this is your spot! We hated to leave, we already thought of it as our second home. As I said at the start there is none better!!

Room Tip: Each room has it's own personality so look at them on line and match what works for you!!
