My stay at Raven's Ridge was one of the best experiences I have had in a hotel / B&B. Phyllis and Judge go out of their way to make your stay wonderful. They have thought of every convenience and it shows. There is bottled water in the room, coffee and snacks always available, help with directions and maps, and lots of information on local sights. My boyfriend and I stayed in the Starlight room and it is very romantic. We got caught in a mountain rainstorm and when we returned - wet and cold - the hot tub was the perfect place to be. The backyard is a gardener/birdwatcher's paradise and the perfect place to eat breakfast. The breakfasts were sophisticated and yummy meals, where Phyllis and Judge wait on your every need. This place is worth every penny. The location is a couple miles outside of Santa Fe, so having a car is almost a must.

My daughter, granddaughter, and I have just gotten back from a trip to Santa Fe where we stayed at Ravens Ridge for four days. The owners, Phyllis and Judge, are very welcoming and provide many special things like teas, coffees, wonderful breakfasts artistically arranged. They have created a garden paradise of roses, hollyhocks, a koi pond. They also have the second most visits by hummingbirds in New Mexico. Hundreds of them in a rainbow of colors come daily to feed. It is a magnificent sight. This is a peaceful, secluded place where relaxation is king.
This is a top-notch place to stay that I can recommend without any reservations. My husband and I plan to go back the end of August and I hope many more times in the future. It is truly a treat to stay there.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Casita and loved it. It is equipped with a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator if trav...

We will definitely be returning to Ravens Ridge. We stayed in the Starlight Room, which was both magical and comfortable. Phyllis and Judge are wonderful hosts; Phyllis showed us the hummingbirds in her beautiful garden, Judge prepared scrumptious breakfasts, and both visited with us and offered great ideas for things to do. We were leaving very early one morning for a balloon ride, and Phyllis baked us muffins the night before to take with us because we were missing breakfast. They recommended hikes and day trips in the area, and their restaurant recommendations were excellent. The B and B is located a few miles out of Santa Fe in a quiet and beautiful area. What a warm, lovely, welcoming place.

We spent 2 nights at the Ravens Ridge. We were warmly greeted by Phyllis and her husband Judge -- a very lovely couple. We stayed at the Lonesome Dove, which is not on the main property. It is a short little drive down the street. Because it was warm when we were there, we decided not to walk to the main property for breakfast, but it is a doable walk. We just decided to drive back and forth instead. The property has 2 queen beds which were very comfortable to sleep on. The linens and towels were of good quality and I loved that we had a goose down comforter. A lot of the places we've stayed at only provide you with a sheet and a light blanket and tuck you in pretty tight. At the Ravens Ridge they give you quality linens so you feel like you are closer to home.

The breakfast in the garden was such a highlight for us. One breakfast we had a tasty bread pudding and another breakfast we were treated to a delicious oatmeal pancake. Sitting in the gazebo and watching the hummingbirds buzz around was a great way to start the morning. One evening we drove to the main property to be a part of Judge's stargazing/astrology lesson. He really knows his stuff!

You will not be disappointed with the Ravens Ridge. The Johnsons are such warm and accommodating people. I am glad we decided to stay at their establishment and had a chance to meet them.

It was nice to be out of town, but within an easy 10 minute drive to the plaza. Ravens Ridge is so peaceful, with a lovely garden filled with hummingbirds. We had breakfast in the garden each day. The food was gourmet and very delicious. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our three nights. We will definitely stay again, and will choose one of the larger rooms next time.

Room Tip: For a couple, choose one of the larger rooms.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was Starlight room which was on the upper side of the building. The room was built and decorated in Santa Fe style. Very nice and clean. Luckily, we could book at the last minutes (only one room left). I had a good vibe when I made a request for reservation. And my gut feeling was correct.
We were too busy visiting many places and only spent minimum time in our room, but it was super quiet and comfortable. Like many other highly rated B&Bs, besides nice and comfortable room, "owners" (Phyllis & Judge) is the key here too. They were former SF bay area resident & a chef, breakfast was outstanding. We've stayed many B&Bs in the past, and this was one of the best food we've had. Owners had extraordinary knowledge of Santa Fe area. We were very impressed about the "self guided tour" of Santa Fe down town area made by Judge. We were given the print out which owner planned our self guided tour at the time of check in. So we just followed it, and it covered majority of "must visit" places. Restaurant we visited based on their recommendation was fabulous. We wish we could stay one more night, but everything was so wonderful within our limited time.
We hope to be able to come back here again.
Thank you!

Room Tip: 1. Starlight room is on upper side on the property. It has its own entrance. Part of the ceiling h...
