“Hotel Review”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

I stayed at Hyatt Place for 5 nights. It is a very clean and welcoming hotel. The entrance is beautifully decorated with fresh, modern colors. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
We had two queen beds, a mini lounge with tv.It was clean and comfortable.
My only disappointment was that there was no microwave in the room.We had to go downstairs to warm some leftover pizza.
The hotel has 24 hours food service. We ordered Chicken tortilla soup which was very delicious but pricey.
Breakfast was good with a fair spread of food.
The hotel is on the main road where you can find many restaurants of your choice. Parking was free and we enjoyed the gym and swimming pool facilities.
It is about 14 minutes to downtown.

after 9 hours of driving this was a calm oasis -- great room and sitting area - best bed in the world - food ordered from room came up to expectations - breakfast next morning was adequate and nice
we did not need to go down to the town
the place itself is a little hard to find, even with gps

Room Tip: not sure but we liked 3rd floor

This hotel is aimed at the business traveler. Apparently in today's lingo, that means "not family friendly." This is not a drawback unless you are traveling with little ones. There are several nice features. The registration area has a tea and coffee counter with refreshments and snacks. The person who checked us in was also the server. The ambiance is modern and cool. The shower is an excellent design and the fittings are brushed chrome. There is also a refrigerator which a lot of hotels don't have anymore.. Also a 42" TV and free Wi-Fi and many charger and electrical outlets. And indoor swimming pool. All in all a great value and enjoyable experience.

A conveniently located hotel with nice rooms at a moderate price. About a 12 minute drive to the historic Santa Fe plaza and the art galleries on Canyon Rd. The Hyatt offers breakfast daily as well as a coffee bar throughout the day. A nice place to rest after a day of shopping or sightseeing.

This is a very nice hotel, and we enjoyed our stay there. The room was clean and spacious, and I really liked the walk in shower. There are many amenities (which we didn't have time to enjoy). Some might not like the location, as it is quite a distance from the Plaza and other attractions, but we enjoyed that. My only slight disappointment was the breakfast -- it was okay, but nothing special. However, the service was exceptional and they made you feel comfortable lingering over another cup of coffee.

For a family trip, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was delicious..especially the pastries :) The pool was a nice temperature for our kids who hate cold water. The hotel is well located and while I didn't get to try the free shuttle service. I thought it was a great option for guests.

My wife and I spent 6 days at the Hyatt Place. Even though they were undergoing roof construction the staff went out of their way to insure that all guests were accommodated in such a way that they were no where near the work. They breakfast was like no other we have ever experienced and it was FREE!
The room we had was spacious and kept immaculate by the staff. I am a Hyatt Place regular from now on. Try this place and you will be too.
