“Quiet and calm atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

We loved the pretty patio and shady tables. The red chile enchiladas were among the best we found in Santa Fe. Excellent service rounded it all out.

“Run Don't Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

First my apologies to two of the staff members Alex and Jerry for the delay in writing this review. Stumbled upon this place for lunch (had the Christmas, red sauce and green sauce) enchiladas and was blown away. They were superior. They were so good we came back from Taos to have dinner with my folks. Again, the food was outstanding as well as the service and adult beverages.

In closing thank you so much for one of my favorite memories from our trip and hope all is well with you Alex and Jerry.

Our visit was delightful. Eric, also our server, was very professional and helpful. Our meal was delicious, promptly served, and authentically New Mexican.

“Excellent food and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

We live in Santa Fe and finally went to dinner at Tabla de Los Santos. The food was outstanding, as was Eric B., who was our server. Eric was friendly and very knowledgeable. He guided us through the menu, which offered a wide variety of mouth-watering options. Between the two of us, we had the Chile Relleno de Cielo appetizer, romaine salad with polenta croutons (a special), beet and goat cheese salad (a special), Rainbow Trout, and the Chile Relleno Los Santos. The portions were large and everything tasted extremely fresh. We didn't have room for dessert. We can't wait to go back! And, we'll be sure to ask for Eric who made the experience that much more enjoyable.

“Good Food, Lousy Service, Unresponsive Management”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Celebrated a special anniversary here and we were so disappointed. Upon arrival there were only 3 other diners, so service should not have been an issue, but that was not the case.

When I ordered a mojito, our waiter said he would have to check if the bartender could make one. Now I can understand if I had ordered some out of the ordinary drink that a waiter might have to check with the bartender, but a mojito?

When our appetizer arrived, we had to ask to have small plates brought for us to use. We had to ask for bread to be brought to the table after our appetizer. It took over 5 minutes for two stale rolls to arrive.

Our appetizer plates weren't removed from our table until we finally asked them to be.

Our entrees arrived, but no silverware had been replaced after our appetizer course, so we had to request new silverware and wait for it to be brought to us while our entrees sat on the table getting cold.

Our waiter, inspite of only having one other party of 5 at a neighboring table to attend to, never came back to check on us. Finally a second waiter came by and we had to ask him to clear our dinner plates.

Suffice it to say we've had better service at Denny's! The food was delicious, but not inexpensive, and for these prices service should at least be tolerable. It was amateurish at best.

Additionally, we sent a friendly letter to the manager and never had one word of response. Needless to say, with all the good restaurants in Santa Fe, there's no need to give this one a second chance.
