Description: Vinaigrette is a bright and modern bistro housed within a charming old adobe in historic Santa Fe. The hip restaurant specializes in creative entree salads, soups and grilled meats that utilize fresh, organic and locally sourced ingredients--including produce grown on the restaurant's farm just north of town. Excellent, affordable wine list and microbrew beer on draft complement the cuisine. Open 11am to 9pm, Monday through Saturday.

“Vinaigrette - Fresh Farm to Table at its Finest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

The owner/chef of Vinaigrette is a young woman who also owns a farm that supplies most of her ingredients, So you can be sure things will be seasonal and fresh. It is a great alternative to chile and beans (even though we LOVE New Mexico cuisine) when you crave raw vegetables and such.
We are not wild about the interior space and seating style, servers we have had are just so-so, but really a small inconvenience for enjoying well prepared and creative salads. Servers come and go, so you never know when you will get one enthusiastic about their job.

“Delicious food at wonderful prices!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2014

I've been here twice now and both times the food was delicious. The atmosphere was lovely and the service splendid. The only negative thing I could say is that upon arrival, I was slightly confused by the staff all dressed in regular clothes. It would be easier to find your server if they were all at least in a similar color scheme or something. Other than that, I'd highly recommend this restaurant for fresh cuisine and a happy experience. I'll definitely be dining here again!

“Excellent and creative salads”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2014

This was the first time we ate at this restaurant and it was really excellent. None of us are vegetarians, but we all enjoyed our dinners. The salads were ample and perfectly dressed. The prices were reasonable, but the wait staff were bored and not interested in being there. We had a really good experience.

“Fresh, smart salads”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

This is the place to go for healthy, delicious, innovative salads and meals. It's an easy go-to place for vegetarians Vinaigrette is one of the participating farm to table restaurants so you are enjoying local, sustainable, and fresh foods prepared to suit your tastes. You can modify any salad to your liking and add protein for an extra cost. Some favorites are the kale caesar (it's large and can be salty with the anchovies), eat your peas, chop chop, and cherry tart. Plus Erin's mac' cheese is one of the best I've had...a guilty pleasure after eating your greens. First-come, first-served, and the place is busy so arrive early for lunch. Take away is easy.

“update on vinaigrette”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

i have enjoyed eating at vinaigrette for years, but the last 3 meals were not quite as good as usual. the menu is still great and i'm sure some of the salads are still fabulous but, for example:
my arugula/duck salad was drenched in dressing, the arugula was limp and unappealing, and the duck skimpy - $15.00. next time i will try a sandwich!
the dining room is SO noisy, you might as well go alone and not have to try to have a conversation. or go at an off hour. the outside patio is lovely, the service has been mostly good considering how busy they are.
i do love this restaurant, it is worth a try, the ingredients are fresh, many grown at the owner's farm. just needs a bit of quality control!
