“Great Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Enjoyed everything about our meal -- food, service, wine. Creative cooking, well presented. Several places in Santa Fe seem to have gotten off on an Asian fusion theme or French Asian fusion with an attempt at Southwest flavors -- which just does not work for us. This is not one of them -- just good healthy flavorful creatively prepared food. Try the organic chicken or the Atlantic salmon -- both very good. Service was excellent.

“Great couples place with lovely, friendly, very competent staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

A bit cramped but the staff is so wonderful and good at their jobs it makes you feel comfortable and you will enjoy the evening. The food is beautifuly prepared and presented. Flavor is a little less on point versus Gerinomo. Wine list is good, smarter than Gerinomo but still not as comprehensive as one would like given food options. Highly recommend.

“Just average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

My husband and I were visiting Santa Fe for the first time over my husband's birthday, and I wanted to treat him to dinner at a nice restaurant. Based on the reviews, we chose this one. Parking at the restaurant itself was very minimal, and we had to park around the block at a church parking lot. The inside was somewhat cramped. I could hear the entire conversation of a group of 4 next to us throughout dinner. There was little, if any, ambiance. My husband and I are foodies and felt that our meals were just average. We had the tuna tartare and crab/lobster/mushroom appetizers. For the entree, we had the pork tenderloin and salmon ... the tab for these items was $99 ... this did not include wine or drinks. One real negative was that our table was right next to a passageway where wait staff were passing behind me about every 15 seconds -- very distracting and annoying.

“Very nice for a special occasion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

This is a really nice, upscale restaurant. Prices are a little on the high side but the chef's inventiveness and original dishes make it very worthwhile. My husband and I had a truly memorable dinner here for my birthday. Nice atmosphere and nice service as well. If you are a steak and potatoes lover, probably not for you. But, if you are a foodie and love different food combinations and something you can't get elsewhere, you will appreciate this place.

“Creative menu, great execution”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Martin has not lost his edge since our last visit -- still very creative blends of interesting flavors, unusual combinations of ingredients, great presentation and excellent service. The ladies were more than satisfied with dinners of two entrees (butternut/green apple bisque and either pok bellies or a flan featuring fried oysters -- speaking of unusual combinations). The men were equally pleased with the duck breast or pork tenderloin. Service reminded us of European waiters who pride themselves on a career -- not just a short-term job -- in that field. Our wait-person, however, was a young woman (Graciela) who combined thorough knowledge and professionalism with considerable charm. The wine list was sufficiently varied although pricey, even for an expensive restaurant, but a careful reading could identify some reasonable offerings.
