We made a reservation at the last minute, and Robert (owner) was extremely gracious and accommodating. 2 blocks off the plaza and 2 blocks from our hotel, gave us a chance to walk down Water street and then down Galisteo. The menu is very good and organized in a fashion that other restaurants should emulate. The waiter was very good, knowledgeable, and (surprise!) Marge (owner) served our entree and made (and served) our dessert. Service was good, very attentive without being bothersome. The food was very very good (Fodor's says so also BTW). We started with a great Malbec, and I had the sweet potato squash soup, beet and prosciutto salad, and pan roasted quail for the entree, while my wife had the soup, Gorgonzola torte with walnut crust salad, and the Sicilian Smacafam. We shared a Mud Puddle for dessert. The flavors were complementary, full flavored, full bodied, just (to be frank) really yummy! I would strongly recommend this restaurant. I would very definitely eat here again...and just might on this trip!
