“Well worth its ranking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

The restaurant scene in Santa Fe is brutally competitive, and this relative newcomer deserves a place with the best in Santa Fe. The menu is eclectic and creative. The waitstaff is enthusiastic, attentive, helpful, and friendly. They are definitely committed to providing the best experience possible for the patrons. The environment is quiet and relaxed with soft jazz playing in the background. If you're looking for a new restaurant to try in Santa Fe, Galisteo Bistro is the place for you!

“Fine dining at glisten bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Highly recommend. Food was terrific. Lots of flavor with each dish, using a variety of ingredients. Very different cuisine from other local offerings, which makes this a nice alternative. You will not be disappointed. Server and owner were attentive.

“Nice atmosphere for dinner or tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

The restaurant sat us despite us not having a reservation. I think the person at the door would have turned us away but the owner or manager came running up to seat us which was very nice. We had lovely tapas and drinks served tastefully and with lovely service. We would go again next visit

“Just lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

We celebrated July 4th in Santa Fe and wanted a 'special' dinner and SO many choices in Santa Fe. We choice this restaurant based on other reviews and menu and it did not disappoint. We split the beet salad (wish I would have gotten my own) and it was perfect! We then split the Blu Cheese Sirloin and it was melt in your mouth good and glad we split this and worth the split plate charge for starch and veggie. We had room for dessert and got the Decadence Flourless Cake and YES IT IS DECEADENT! But worth the calories and also glad we split this. We splurged on a St. Supery Elu bottle of wine and it was a real treat and took the last of bottle back to our hotel room. It was a good dining experience and glad we choose this for our special 4th celebration meal.

“Very nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

I found this place very nice and pleasant. The owner visited the tables and the staff was mostly attentive except when a very expensive glass of wine was spilled during dinner. No one came to help clean up the mess even though the dinner plate was full of wine, guest had wine on her and the table was messy. Friends(locals) we were with thought this place was the best and one of their favorite. The food was just ok in my opinion.
