“a stop for the staircase”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

This sweet chapel has the famous staircase. If you are an architecture fan is a must see. It won't take long. Ask about the interesting story behind the rosary laden trees & see a miniature staircase as well. Outside the chapel is also a pleasant respite with some wonderful spiraling artwork.

“First Time Visitor Will Enjoy It”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Beautiful old church that enjoys the attraction of the Miracle Staircase. Admission is reasonable and the story of the staircase is thorough. You won't need to spend more than an hour or less here.

“Worth the visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2012

I have been to the Loretto chapel before, but my wife had never been there. It is a beautiful chapel with a wonderful story or history. I am glad that the building is being preserved and that the "staircase" is in great shape also. It was good to hear the story of the staircase, but it is equally enjoyable to sit in a pew and soak up the beauty of the chapel by itself.

This chapel is one of a kind. Don't miss it when visiting SantaFe. Even if you're not religious it is a beautiful, awe inspiring chapel.
