“Nice place to stay in Santa Fe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013 via mobile

This was a nice hotel, not far from downtown, but not really walking distance either. Several restaurants nearby though, and the courtyard area in the center is great. Overall, a nice hotel at a fair rate. Clean...

We utilized the Main Ballroom for a talk and it was large and spacious, very clean. The lobby area was also very clean and spacious and there were several areas to sit and watch TV or read at several kiosk/booth like areas which lent to privacy without being cutoff.

Right on the main drag in the "tourist area", Cerillos Road near Richards (near McDonalds and Walgreens across the street and just up a bit) and the parking lot was easy to get in and out of.

My kiddos and I stayed here on a road trip from Colorado to Arizona over spring break. The hotel has a nice layout, the staff friendly, the room was nice and clean, and the pool! The pool was warm, and with two hot tubs to choose from, the whole pool area was great. My husband booked the room for us, and was told there was room service. In actuality there was no room service, but an order-ahead service at the bistro, where you can then pick up your meal and bring it back to your room. This was OK for us, and the food was decent hotel food. We enjoyed our stay here, and would happily do it again.

This is a very large Courtyard, all done in Southwestern style. While my room showed some wear, it was overall a nice property, and the service was exemplary. The food in the bistro was prepared with excellence and attention to details. I would be happy to stay here again when next in Santa Fe.

Lots of nice Marriott touches in the lobby / bistro area. Room was pretty standard, by which I mean no problems, just nothing sensational. Beds were plenty comfortable. Lots of hot water. Nice enough Southwestern decor. We were only here one night for a special event - my son's high school hockey team played for (and WON!) the state championship - so we'll have good memories to last a lifetime. But if I were going to stay multiple nights this would be a first choice due to the extensive common area, indoor pool, wireless internet equipped spacious comfortable lobby with food, alcohol, TVs, business center, etc. There are actually two different courtyards enclosed within the complex. It was snowing when we were here, so we didn't go outdoors a whole lot, but the roomy screened balcony would be a fine place to sit and have coffee or evening libations in warmer weather. The worst thing I can say is it was kind of a long, cold outdoor trek to our room, having to go way over yonder to the elevator, then come way back. But much better amenities downstairs than, say, the Comfort Suites across the street where I've stayed before. This has much of what you expect in a $150 to $200 a night business hotel in the $79 to $99 upscale motel range. A good find.

Room Tip: I'm going to assume all the rooms have balconies, but I don't know for sure, so ask to be su...

We stayed here one night. It is truly a courtyard but nice. All doors open to the inside courtyard on all 3 floors. We used the pool and hot tub they were nice with lots and lots of towels available. The hotel resturant was pretty good with $1 beer during happy hour. Overall good stay.

Really surprised and disappointed in Marriott. The rooms need some updating or at least refreshing, ours was a little dingy and musty. Had a hard time with the key and found out another guest had the same problem. We realized the hotel lobby and restaurant are in the midst of renovation but the menu for dinner was very limited but the food was good.
