If you need to stay more than two nights this is a regrettable hotel as all rooms are still in the 1800's. Quaint - yes, but that wears thin as there is a distinct lack of space, electrical outlets,or room to store things much less to turn around in. There is a weird little bench which you can't sit on and the one chair is sort of a medieval retro throne which is blocking the path to the bathroom. The inconvenience and impracticality of the bowel sink sans counter is another example of how cramped one feels when staying here. There is one dim lightbulb hanging in front of a very small mirror making it impossible to put on make-up or blow dry your hair much less share with a spouse. It may be historic, but this kind of austerity like St. Francis is for the birds.
