We actually got a great deal on Groupon to spend a weekend at this hotel--one of our favorite places to stay in Santa Fe. The rooms are small and the bathroom is a little cramped but the charm of the hotel more than makes up for the deficiencies. The bed was extremely comfortable and the customer service is friendly and upbeat. We spent some time on Saturday in the El Secreto Bar and really enjoyed the fresh salsa, the wine and beer. We had breakfast on Sunday in the Tabla de los Santos and had a great burrito made with chorizo sausage. Great getaway weekend!

This hotel was exactly what I wanted. It's probably one of the oldest hotels/Inns in Santa Fe. The rooms are a little small, but I was alone on business and it worked just fine. Ordered room service thinking it would just an ok meal, but it was an amazing diner. I chile Relleno that was not fried. Not eben greasy... made with goat chess and rice. Soo good. And the deserts ate so light and delicious, as well. The staff were very frinedly and pleasant. You van see them in the early mornings cleaning the fron windows with pride. A very old monastery feel to the place, but everyone is smiling and the lobby bar is hopping around 5 O'clock, too :) Nice stay. Great location next to the square and all the shops.

While the rooms are smaller in size, they are very charming and peaceful. The bed is by far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I would have paid 100 dollars just to sleep in that bed. The staff were very friendly and the bathroom had lovely features.

We spent the night in Santa Fe at the St Francis Hotel and it was like traveling to a distant exotic place. The ambience and the service were impeccable and looking out the windows at breakfast and dinner made us feel we were in Mexico or Spain. The cocktail lounge and dining room were both lovely and the food outstanding. A short getaway that was perfect in every way.
