“Excellent hotel in perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

We stayed 3 nights here during a cross country road trip. The hotel was excellent and we would come back again. Not entirely full service as there is no spa, for example, but the service was excellent and the restaurant was wonderful. The prices were also reasonable given the quality. I personally would prefer to forgo a spa and keep the price down, so this hotel was good for me. Great location right off the plaza.

Our superior king room was adequate in size (not huge), with a very comfortable raised four poster bed. Their was an abundabe of storage space for clothes. The bathroom had a respectable size sink and was reasonably well lit. The shower water pressure was outstanding.
The hotel is located right off the plaza, affording easy access to shops and restaurants. The location could not have been more perfect. Service from all hotel personnel, from the front desk, to valet car parkers, the concierage and bellman was consistently outstanding.

The room was decorated in a "distress" style. The was no artwork on the walls which were painted a faded brownish beige. There were not enough lights in the main room and the building next door was so close that it blocked out sunlight. The hotel lobby and hallways were decorated in a similar style which, in my opinion, gave the facility a depressing dark and gloomy feel.

Room Tip: rooms at the front and rear of the buling seemed to have more outside light. Rear rooms would exper...

We spent 3 nights at the Inn of the Anasazi last week. Check in was easy. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is valet only. $20/day. They were always quick to get the car- very nice valet staff.

The room was great. Had a lodge feel, with its exposed timbers ceiling and corner kiva fireplace. Boy- that fireplace was SO nice! At least at this time of year, where the mornings and evenings are quite chilly. But we put it on every waking moment we were in the room. Such nice ambience. Hard not to feel relaxed with a fire going in the background...

We had a standard king room. No view, whatsoever. We looked out onto rooftops and air conditioning units of the closely spaced, neighboring buildings. No biggie though, cause we had that fireplace!

The bed was super comfortable. Nice linens. Plenty of bedside table space. Flatscreen tv. Nice desk with chair, as well as an upholstered chair with ottoman. It is not a "wow" room, but more of a cozy, comfortable space that grows on you each time you enter it. Housekeeping is fantastic- the room felt SO clean. The room was super quiet. Got a great night's sleep here.

The bathroom was a bit on the small side. Not great for 2 people to use at once. Deep bathtub with a partial glass door. The vanity area was pretty, a decent size, with good lighting. The toiletries were good quality, but did not have a memorable scent. There were, however, some really nice amenities in the bathroom such as makeup remover wipes, great sewing kit, nail polish wipes, etc...
The best part about the bathroom was the towels. Wow- they were amazing. Huge, thick, soft, white towels. I don't recall ever using nicer ones...

Turndown service at night was great! White mat and slippers next to the bed. Cookies on the table. Radio tuned to relaxing, classical station. Humidifier turned on next to the bed. It was so nice to come back to this at the end of the day.

We loved staying at this hotel. Cannot imagine a better location. It is literally 10 seconds off the plaza. So nice to come back to the wonderful, complimentary lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. Very nice coffee and tea set up in the morning as well. Loved the fact that you could enter the front door of the Inn, hop up the steps, and be in your room in about 30 seconds. Rarely took the elevator.

The only negative is the price. We paid close to $400 a night. Not an especially good value, but I am very glad we chose this hotel. It was a warm, cozy retreat in a friendly, interesting town.

We just returned from 6 delightful nights to the Inn of the Anasazi and have NO complaints. Everything about the Inn is pitch perfect-from the front desk personnel to the restaurant and housekeeping staff. Our room was beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and extremely clean. The restaurant was great. We enjoyed first class meals and service, whether it was breakfast or dinner.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel. You will feel like you are in a fine New Mexico Hacienda. So warm and inviting. The staff was very friendly and the concierge was wonderful. We ate breakfast twice at the hotel and it was very good. One very nice touch is the humidifier in your guest room especially for New Mexico. The location can't be beat. You are central to everything. Walking distance to restuarants and canyon road.

...if you have been to the Dallas Mansion, do not expect the same level of food and service at this sister hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Still, it is a cut above most others near The Plaza. There is a new tapas place across the street that knocks your socks off in quality and value. It is the Chef's second place.

Room Tip: Rooms are small for Santa Fe location, fince if you in New York.

We spent three nights at the Inn in late August. Situated right off the Plaza and adjacent to the Palace of the Governors, the Inn is within walking distance of nearly everything in downtown Santa Fe.

The rooms and the hotel generally are well-decorated and remind you that you are in the Southwest. The hotel service is very attentive and friendly.

The restaurant service was spotty. Our breakfasts tended to take a very long time to arrive although there were few people eating when we were there. Our one dinner there was perfect. The food itself at dinner also out-shined breakfast by proportions. We wondered whether the service had to do with our age (we are in our early 30s) since our meals with our older parents tended to be more prompt. Or perhaps it was just coincidence.
