“Very Comfortable Stay at the Inn on the Alameda”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2009

Our party of four very much enjoyed a comfortable 4-night stay at the Inn on the Alameda. The facilities were clean and inviting, rooms well appointed, service attentive, and the location was very convenient for walking into and around downtown Santa Fe. The included breakfast was very nice, and the complementary wine and cheese between 4 and 5 PM was a welcome plus. Wi-Fi was also a nice perk. There were also laundry facilities and hot tubs (neither of which we used).

We stayed here for 3 nights, while exploring Santa Fe. The location was great - a short walk to the Plaza - while easily accessible to museums, galleries, etc. We were greeted by very friendly staff throughout our stay. Our room was very pleasant, comfortable and quiet.

The breakfast room was bright with an excellent selection of items for breakfast.

All together - a great find.

We stayed 3 nights in late September, when the weather was first warm, then changed to breezy and cool autumn. The inn's location is ideal, as many have written. It's small, and has little passages between the rooms full of plants and trees. The ristras hanging from many eaves on the adobe buildings add to the wonderful Southwest ambiance of this special inn.We were very comfortable in the 2Q Traditional room(w/ balcony).Ask for a 2nd story room away from the traffic on the Alameda and the parking lot. On cool mornings and evenings the living room and breakfast room have pinon fires lit in the kivas, perfect for reading, visiting, or quiet reflection. The breakfast is ample, w/ lots of choices. Head to the table in the b'fast diniing room w/ the toaster, where the good bakery bread(raisin, rye, whole wheat, and bagels) are. The pastries in the main food room were tasteless though looked good. This inn in clean, w/ the exception of some mold on the shower grout. Don't neglect to use the hot tub in the locked patio--warm end to a busy day, w/ stars overhead. Highly recommended for couples, singles, or friends on a special trip to Santa Fe.

Stayed 4 nights. Wonderful inn, great location, nice breakfast and afternoon wine/snacks. Only 2 in hot tub every time we used it, very private, watch the stars.

This is a lovely hotel, and the location, if you are an art lover, can't be beat. It's between Canyon Road, and the center of Santa Fe, so you don't have to walk far in either direction to find amazing people, food, art, etc. The rooms were clean, the service was good, and they have the best manager ever (Debbie). This is my permanent Santa Fe "home base" when vacationing there.

This establishment will never let you down. Best place we have stayed in Santa Fe. Not cheap but well worth it. We stay there every year.

We stayed 2 nights here and loved it. It is perfectly located right off Paseo de Peralta, very close to the Plaza, just a few minutes walk away. The Inn is quaint, the rooms are very well appointed with beautiful decor. We received a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room, complete with our own kiva (fireplace). It was spacious and even included a patio. The staff here are top notch and pleasing you is their top priority. They were very helpful in making dinner reservations both nights for us. We would definitely stay here again and will highly recommend it to anyone coming to Santa Fe. This is a real gem!
