“Best of Santa Fe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014

Usually visit Santa Fe twice a year and have eaten at quite a few of the so called top restaurants
in the city. As an international stop for many tourists, there are a lot to choose from. Luminaria
has consistently been my favorite. Ate there recently and they have a new chef; Mark Quinones.

One of the specials that evening was a "bone in filet". It was off the top. My wife had the halibut and the preparation was outstanding. This restaurant has never disappointed me. As usual, the service was top notch and if you go ask for either " Stephanie or Aimee". The wine list features an array of quality wine and definitely does not fall into the " gouge category".

Move over Eric DiStefano and Mark Kiffin, there a new chef in town.

“The best place I ate at in Santa Fe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2014 via mobile

Great meal and good service! Most of our group had scallops on crab cakes, I had bison tenderloins! Really worth eaton there if you are in Santa Fe and staying at the plaza.

was delicious. Staff was polite and attentive. I especially liked that it was outdoors and well shaded.

“Beautiful Presentation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2014

The presentation of the food was beautiful, staff very attentive and food fine but a bit over priced. Did think it was interesting that we were told that there were no available 6:00 pm reservations but that they could seat us at 5:45. We were the only ones in the restaurant until almost 7:00 when we finished our meal. Not sure why 6:00 was unavailable - maybe just a glitch with the computers.

“Beautiful outdoor setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

Love having lunch at Luminaria. The terrace is beautiful, so relaxing. Their food is creative and always very good. Lovely salads, the carrot soup was divine. Their service is always a bit awkward, but the staff are friendly so it makes up for it. Very relaxing place to have lunch!
