The location 25 minutes outside of Santa Fe, is perfect for a resort type getaway. This is because enter a tranquil bubble of luxurious Four Seasons style hospitality, with a very local vibe to remind you exactly of where you are, in the middle of the beautiful New Mexican desert. The food was fantastic. The pool service was super. This resort is very small, so if you are used to the bigger Four Seasons Resorts world-wide, you will see many similarities with the service level and amenities, but at a much smaller scale. The trail around the property was scenic and lovely. The spa was very good, but limited practitioners because of its small size, made it very difficult to book appointments. A warning to families that connecting rooms are also an issue at this resort. Most families like to be in connecting rooms or suites traveling with young children. The resort is very safe though and they have kids amenities (we did have to ask for them), and a Smores night that is fun as a family experience.
