If you like a quiet and a scenic location combined by top notch service, great food and helpful staff then this is the place to stay. Minutes from Friday Harbor, yet out in the country. Family run business and it is hands on management. Will be anxios to get Shaun's cookie recipe cookbook. Guareenteed you will LOVE IT.

Room Tip: First or second floor with a balcony deck that overlooks the property.

Magnificent location, but out of town. excellent hospitality including pickup from the ferry and dropping us off in town. Excellent breakfast. Amazing hot tub! You need to have a car or if your willing to bike the hills of San Juan Island..

My wife and I loved our stay at the inn. It felt like we were visiting family. The rooms are all excellent, we got to see them all. We had the Yarrow room the smallest room, but it was enough space for my wife and I. The cookies were great and we were given a small bag to take some for the road. It was like we were family staying in the guest room. The breakfast was awesome, but limited in choice it was like a fine dining resterant where the chef knows best; Shaun and staff did.

Stayed here for 1 night for our anniversary. The house is very nice and well kept. The rooms were extremely comfortable and cozy. The trip was somewhat an unexpected expense as we just came back from Mexico so we opted for the cheapest room available. The room was still very nice and it was all the space we needed as we were only there for one night. We did peek into the larger rooms with the private balcony and will definitely book those rooms for next time.

The cookies upon arrival were excellent and I appreciated the free little extras Shaun provided. The chocolate dipped strawberries in our room was a very nice touch. The complimentary drinks in the mini fridge was well received by my partner.

Breakfast was tasty. The only negative thing I can say is that we would have preferred to have breakfast at a separate table and not have to dine with the other guests in a common table. This is not really a complaint, however, as there are many people who would enjoy dining with the other guests and get to meet new people. My partner is more of a private person and would have preferred to have our own table. I didn't mind either way. Other than that small bit, I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.

Trumpeter Inn was everything we wanted in a Bed and Breakfast experience. Close enough to all activities, yet secluded and peaceful. A wonderful night's rest with a terrific breakfast in the morning. The room was cosy with an undated bathroom.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Camomile room. We loved the roomy shower.

Our 3 day stay included a wonderful breakfast each morning with snacks and award winning cooking available all day long. The owner and staff are very cordial and pay attention to all the little details that help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The well groomed spacious property greets you with well cared for flower gardens and the ponds on the property and nearby farm animals provide a cozy and inviting setting.

The Trumpeter Inn was a great place to stay! My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while on a road trip and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is beautiful and the hosts are extremely gracious, helpful, and friendly. We would definitely come back here again and recommend it to friends and family. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the fresh baked cookies are top notch.
