The view was great. We stayed in the Sweet Escape unit. A car would not be necessary with a short walk to all needs.
The two problems that we experienced were an active 'black spider' nest in the pocket door to the bathroom, having killed three spiders the first morning of our stay. Ed provided bug spray when we first met him that morning. The other being the Jacuzzi which lacked cleaning [residue from previous use], plus overall lack of dusting in total. Evidently, we were the first to use this unit for a period of time, and it was not properly cleaned. Anyone having difficulty climbing stairs, especially with luggage, etc. should take the below street level location for all three units into consideration.

We love the view, a must place to stay..we have been visiting the San Juan for over 15 years and this is the best place to stay in Friday Harbor

We just spent our vacation at Friday Harbor Lights, a wonderful waterfront vacation property in Friday Harbor. (www.fridayharborlights.com) and loved it. we are leaving today and even though we have family here we now consider Friday Harbor Lights our new home away from home. ...Thanks Becky
