Our stay at Inn to the Woods was great. The room was spacious and immaculate. There was great attention to detail, such as chocolates on the night stand, snacks & drinks available in the sitting room and homemade soaps, shampoo & lotions. Bathrobes and shoes were a nice touch for the outdoor hot tub. The view from the deck overlooking Sportsman Lake was really nice, as well.

We were very impressed with Inn to the Woods! The Inn is very private in a wooded setting, with a beautiful view of the lake. Our room was cozy, luxurious & completely spotless. The breakfast was out-of-this world delicious! Apple pancakes with real maple syrup, homemade applesauce, breakfast ham, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Besides the breakfast, we were greeted upon arrival with freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookies and a pot of coffee! The Innkeeper is extremely hospitable and clearly went out of his way to make us happy & comfortable.

Other great features are a free snackbar & sodas, movie collection (each room has a private TV/VCR/DVD), and book collection (bring a book & trade).

We would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it!

This B&B is charming, squeaky clean, and serves up delicious, filling breakfasts!We had the St. John Room which had a private bath and TV/VCR with headphones, telephone, robes, and an endless supply of refreshments, including fresh-baked cookies and brownies. There is a video library. The largest guest room of the four has a private hot tub for two people.The views from the deck of Sportsman's Lake are beautiful, and the location is just off the main road leading from Friday Harbor to Roche Harbor. It was very easy to find and very peaceful.The breakfasts were excellent, featuring baked French toast, sausages one day and spinach & egg souffle with rosemary potatoes on another morning.We cannot say enough good things about our visit there in March. You can't go wrong--we plan to go back again!
