Server was very friendly and attentive. The bangers and mash was great (although it had some sort of mashed peas on the side that looked and tasted like very cold hard refried beans. We asked and were told this was traditional. Maybe so, but if it is not eatable I'd leave it off...) The sheperds pie was good, but a bit different than what we are used to in a pie (carrots, yes, spinach? meh...).
So, a decent meal, but nothing to brag about other than the sausages.
There was also a "specials" menu, but honestly the prices were way too high for the level and atmosphere of this place.
