We stayed at Friday Harbor house for 2 nights starting on Oct. 1, the 1st night of their "quiet season" room rates. We paid $200 for a 3rd floor Harbor View Queen room. (The summer rate for the same room is $325.) Our room was an end unit with a patio on the side. The view from our room was fantastic. All of the "windows" are actually sliding glass doors that open - so although our patio was on the side, we could open the "front" windows to take pictures or get fresh air.
We thought our room was very attractive. All the lamps had dimmer switches. The gas fireplace was very nice. The clock radio had a MP3 dock. There was a refrigerator. In addition to regular drinking glasses, there were 2 wine glasses & a corkscrew. There was a flat screen TV but it wasn't at a good angle for watching TV from the bed.
The bathroom was divided into 2 sections. The shower & toilet were separated from the sink/vanity & jacuzzi tub by a pocket door. The bathroom had its own heater controls.
The breakfast was ok. We didn't like the sundried tomato quiche and we aren't big on fancy, rich breakfast breads & muffins. We did like the fact that there was real oatmeal.
