My husband and I stayed here for two nights for our anniversary. We had a lovely view of the harbor! The weather was cold, but the sun was shining! The fireplace and jetted-tub was amazing. They provided aveda bath salts for the tub which was nice. We had a beautiful and yummy dinner. I had the best ravioli I've ever tasted. My husband LOVED his steak and the pecan pie was to die for. The staff couldn't have been nicer. This was the most relaxing hotel I've ever stayed in. If you are looking for a weekend getaway without children this is the place to go...didn't want to leave!! Everything was within walking distance. We did bring our car here and took a ride up to Roche Harbor which was lovely. We had a great surprise when we turned around from looking at the harbor...MARTHA STEWART was there! We even got to see her leave via her helicopter. All in all a great place to go!!

My husband and I went to Washington to spend the Holidays with family and friends, but we took some days to escape and have a little honeymoon.

We stayed at the Friday Harbor House for 2 nights, the room was very comfy with an awsome view of the harbor. The room itself is very sexy and romantic and very well decorated.

The staff is very friendly . My husband forgot some clothes in the closet and they sent them to our house in LA.The hotel has a great restaurant and is very close of everything in town.

If you are planning to go to Friday Harbor try this hotel is the best.

We spent the first three nights of our honeymoon here. It was amazing--clean, the staff was friendly, and it was extremely peaceful. The location was wonderful--we could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go! We had a wonderful time, and will hopefully be back someday!

Oh, and they support Public Radio. Whoopie!

The staff was great but the entire hotel is not so exciting for the price and reviews. We are very accustomed to boutique hotels in the Pacific Northwest and have a certain level of expectations that Friday Harbor House didn’t match. We had a nice view of the harbor but also were on the second floor where we could easily hear the music and noise from the restaurant. In the morning we had to call the front desk to ask them to turn the music down (7a.m.) when breakfast was being served. To their credit they promptly turned it down. The breakfast was fair—nothing fantastic. You are within walking distance from everything in town. The Mi Casita Mexican restaurant is delicious. Do not miss the Lime Klin lighthouse and bring your binoculars so you can see the wildlife. On the recommendation of a friend we took the drive to Roche Harbor and were delighted with this side of town. All in all Orcas Island was a better place to visit.
