“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

I do not usually frequent vegetarian restaurants but I would definitely visit this one again. Wonderful items on the menu for all members of the family. The mediterranean food I got here was more authentic that what I got at a nearby Mediterranean restaurant. Clean environment, friendly staff, good prices.

“Vegetarian Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

My parents are vegetarian, so we were apprehensive of getting veg food , however they loved the food taste and quality. Must go place when you visit San Antonio.

“Definitely disappointed.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

Our most recent experience was that The Pearl Brewery Green location has lost the friendly, relaxed, customer oriented appeal from the original Flores St. location. We visited on a typically busy Sunday. Arriving at 1:55pm, our server told us the breakfast ended at 1:50pm (which used to be served all day Sunday). Some of the favorites including the "Green" enchiladas are no longer on the now commercially-styled menu. This dish is now only served as a special on Fridays. There were a total of eight (8) servers for all indoor and outdoor tables. The restaurant was so busy and understaffed, there was a delay in seating that appeared to be related to staffing versus table availability. Once seated, we could not converse easily as a family relative to noise. The prices on the new menus are elevated. All meals are $9-$10. The restaurant ambience was get you in, serve you, and get you out. Is Greens still a value? The food was still good, but not excellent. The meal pricing is still a value The food offerings are still very health-conscious, but the overall experience was not good energy. The long-term Green customers are most likely to be disappointed; for those who have not experienced the old Green; this may still be a very good experience.

“Was better on the previous address”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014 via mobile

The food, the atmosphere, the service were much better in their old place. Now the restaurant likes more a cantina of a school.
We have got a broken glass with water leaking of it. It was taken away, but a new glass was never brought.
The food was still good, but was not anymore the quality of the old address.
Conclusion: What a pity!

“Exceptional vegetarian cuisine at a great price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

This restaurant sells delicious vegetarian and vegan cuisine at surprising prices. One of the owners visited with us on a slow 12/31 morning, and we were most impressed! the "chicken fried steak" and mushroom stroganoff are anchor items on the menu, and alway's choose the kale with ginger.
