“Surprise Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

A small, intimate, family run, neighborhood oriented place to eat with palette tantalizing dishes we fell in love with on a trip to San Antonio. Just happened to pass by and were glad we stopped. You'll love it.

“A little over their heads on Valentines Day”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013 via mobile

Lets start with the $60 pp price tag which did not include wine. Maybe this is San Antonio market price but where I come from (San Diego) I can name three top restaurants that offer wine dinners for $50 to $75 with 3-5 courses accompanied by wine. So from my perspective the meal was not a good value. Mussel appetizer was delicious and abundant but they ran out of baguettes to dip in the jus. The rest of the 3 course meal was unremarkable especially since they ran out of the fixed price dessert and tried to convince us to go with something else. Hubby would have gone for it if they had ice cream. But alas, they did not. Owner apologized and compensated with the bill but the whole experience was a hassle considering the expectation. It was after all, Valentines Day. I went away feeling grumpy.

“dependably exceptional”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

One of our top favorites in San Antonio. Have enjoyed the experience on every occasion. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. Steven is our favorite waiter, an excellent man, with great panache. You can't go wrong here.

“A Taste of Europe in San Antonio”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013 via mobile

A nice, intimate bistro reminiscent of Europe. The moules and frites are fantastic, as they should be. There's a nice selection of Belgian beers and French wines. The steak au poiuvre is tender and flavorful, but the sauce is just a bit too much. Still, I would certainly return and try something else. The dessert waffle is the perfect finish to a great meal. Service is competent and friendly.
