“Love this hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012 via mobile

Great location, no street noise and very comfortable. We've stayed here several times and really like this hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Price is right for this hotel. We like the first floor suite. Staff is friendly and works with requests. Also, we use Marriott rewards and love their system. We have free nights about once a quarter.

Only stayed one night. What you would expect from a Courtyard. Very friendly staff. We thought we had booked two queens but received a king instead with sofa sleeper. We were told there were no other rooms to move us into. Didn't seem that full. We managed. We needed pillows and sheets for the sofa bed and they brought them up right away. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good but was not free. What was offered was not much different than a free breakfast in most hotels. Overall nice stay.

I went on vacation to SA and stayed the weekend here. When we arrived the staff was friendly and informative. When we got up to the room I was pleased with how nice it was bc we didn't pay outrageous money for it. We were given a room with a balcony without having to ask and I thought was a bonus bc it had a pretty view. The beds were clean and comfortable with soft feather pillows. It was spacious and the a.c. stayed cold, which was nice bc it was a hot weekend! I would definitely stay here again :)

Only gave this 4 stars because of two things: One, we tried to get a blanket our first night there and were told by the housekeeping staff that they had had a big wedding and didn't have anything. Next night, went directly to the front desk and got a blanket. Two, there was Cheese Whiz on the curtains. I'm not a hugely critical person, so it wasn't a big deal for me. Avoided it and went on with our day. Very nice room. Supremely comfortable bed. The pull-out sofa bed was okay. About what you'd expect from a sofa bed.

The room has a coffee pot, nice wardrobe instead of a cheesy closet. Iron, ironing board in the room. Blow dryer, wooden hangers, fridge and microwave. All top notch, clean, and worked perfectly. Loved the shower with the extended tub/sitting spot. Great for a lady's shaving needs. Superb water pressure -- never ran out of hot water. Staff was very nice, hotel was kept very clean.

Felt very safe and secure our entire three night stay. Loved the extra touches with the Seaworld elevator doors. My daughter was so excited to see this every morning as we left to enjoy the parks. Liked the convenience of the 'convenience store' in the lobby. Didn't have to find a Stop N Go to get milk for the kid. Will definitely stay there again. Will be back around Christmas time. Hopefully, the construction at 1604(?) and 281 will be finished by then. It was such a mess.

Huge bonus: Large fitness center directly across the street was free with your Courtyard room key! Also, right across a small road from a nice strip center with two restaurants. Not even 1/2 mile from Wal-Mart and a bunch of other restaurants and stores. Very convenient!

We were leery of booking this far from Sea World, but it was only a 20 minute drive each way. No traffic, even during rush hour. It was very nice to be far away from all of the touristy spots and packed restaurants, so we will NEVER stay near Sea World or Six Flags. We really liked the Stone Oak area a great deal. Plenty of nearby fast food restaurants as well as sit down restaurants. Very safe area. The entire Stone Oak area looked very new and upscale.

Will definitely book again. Very good deal for the price!

I would have to say that the hotel and the rooms are very clean but the majority of the staff is incompetent to give advice on where to eat, what taxi service to use and to say with certainty as to what time the shuttles run. If you plan to not have your own rental/personal car they are not clear as to what time the shuttles run, how far they will take you and if they will be able to pick you up at a specified time. The breakfest was terribly expensive for the qualtiy of food that was provided. For the amount of money paid for a nightly stay you should recieve a more cost effective breakfest.

Room Tip: If you are planning on sleeping, bring your own pillow as the ones provided are extremelly poor to s...

This Courtyard in San Antonio is clean, and well situated next to the freeway exit and nearby some shops and restaurants. I chose this location as it was convenient to a place that I needed to visit for work, just a few minutes away. The staff were all very friendly and willing to assist. Chase at the front desk was welcoming and attentive, not only with me, but I noticed this with other guests throughout my stay. People do make the difference! The room was clean and as expected for a Courtyard. The best part of the room was the shower. The shower head was great and the water pressure was strong, which is refreshing. There's a Starbucks less than a mile down the street which was convenient in the morning. Overall, I'm happy to have stayed here and would definitely return if in the area again for business.

We went to San Antonio to visit Sea world and the hill country (north of S.A.). This was an optimal location for both. The look and surrounding areas all seem fairly modern and up to date. All facilities were clean and did not have that old motel smell to the beds and rooms. There was a slight old water stain in the bathroom but nothing disturbing to the eye. The staff was helpful and polite. We felt very safe, along with our car. it was very quite and very little noise for a friday night. I would come back again next time we visit.

Room Tip: We went with a family of 4, so we asked for a quite area and pretty much the entire hotel was ... Th...
