This hotel is great! It has its own history, lovely art and best location! The breakfast was amazing and complete and the kickback was more like dinner for my group! I haven't eaten so much popcorn since I was a child! It's in close walking distance to literally everything - and I walk with a cane! Don't even have to look for a CVS or Walgreens (though they are both close by) there is the Aztec corner store across the street and other little shops in the area to get the necessities. The staff were always friendly and helpful, check out was a breeze (we checked out at 4am with no hassle- they called a taxi for us even). The free local calls made it easy to plan and book trips from the comfort of the hotel room. The rooftop pool offered a great view of everything. All in all this hotel was well worth every penny and then some!

Room Tip: I'm not picky about the room since I don't spend too much time there but ours was on the 20t...

Stayed April 16-19 2014. Hotel is right on Riverwalk. The location is good. it is between the Alamo and the Market Place. Easy walk to everything. I was delighted at what amenities they gave you. Breakfast daily which had everything you would want. The best was from 5:30-7:30 everyday they have a happy hour with free drinks and food(meatballs, pasta, salad , baked potatoes,) which was very tasty. No need to spend money eating on Riverwalk which I found pricey. The rooms were very nice. Large updated bathrooms. We stayed on the 20th floor, had a fabulous view of the city. I would definitely stay again.

We were so fortunate to roll into town a little early. No problem. We had a room and a view. I loved the quirky Art Deco interior. This used to be a bank and has now transitioned into a hotel. Downstairs, there are exhibits of the many vaults and an exit to the riverwalk. Upstairs, in our room we could imagine it was once an office. The bed was comfy. The bathroom had every feature you could need. On the roof was a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. It was great for night time viewing of the skyline. The work out room was also very good. It is not often that you can find free weights and machines, but we did. The breakfast was very substantial. But, what I liked was that there was a pot of oatmeal cooking. I don't like to fill up on the bacon, eggs, biscuits, waffles that everyone else had piled on. There were more healthy choices . Thank you to Saria, who tended to our area and kept tables clean. We had a great time in San Antonio!

Having never been to San Antonio, we checked the internet for hotels on the Riverwalk and found this one. We knew nothing of Drury Hotels, but the reviews sounded good, so we took a chance. Wow! This hotel is a renovated bank building from the 1920s and has been restored to the art deco splendor of that era. The rooms are thoroughly modern and well done. Coffee bar, microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV. Everything. The thing we appreciated most was the unexpected breakfast included in the room rate. It was really excellent. And, if you are hungry and want a big breakfast--well, this is the place for you. The evening refreshments are equally generous. They are not just a snack, it is enough for a real supper. And three drinks are complimentary. This is a great place. I highly recommend it. Oh yes, the room rates are unbelievably low considering what I have mentioned above.

Room Tip: I think any room would work fine.

This was our first stay in a Drury and we loved it! This hotel is awesome - I will always look to stay at Drury from now on. The room was big, very nice and clean. We stayed for a week and there were 2 kids and 2 adults so we got plenty of use out of everything at the hotel. The pool on the roof was fun for the kids and had awesome views of the city. The hot free food in the morning and night saved us money and headache of always finding food for our ever hungry children!

This was our first visit and experience in the San Antonio and more specifically to the River Walk area. The Drury is in a great location with everything you need within walking distance. Nice large well appointed room. Great cocktail hour and breakfast. Our only negative comment would be the inconvenient and awkward way that we had to get to our room in the West tower of the hotel. However, we would definitely stay there again. Great experience!

Not the most impeccable but can't beat the value for the money! Easy access to the river walk and we were able to watch the fiesta parade right from the hotel. We were there for 3 days and only had to spend money on lunch thanks to the great food at Drury.
