“New Years Eve Meal - UNSATIFACTORY”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2009

Atmosphere was great.
The Lobster Bisque - so salty we could not finish the soup.
Baby Romaine Hearts salad was wilted.
Pan seared duck was great.
Poached flounder was way undercooked and our teenage daughters could not eat it.
Crusted rack of Lamb was perfect!
The Nutella Cake with peanut butter mousse was wonderful.
Sorry, but overall this meal was disappointing.

“Just perfect for something special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2008

The place is perfect. You can see the love that is put into the whole experience by Jason Dady. My husband and i first went around Valentines day 2007, and we have been back 2 times since. We actually moved 1,500miles away and went for a visit and had to go to the lodge while we were there!
It's a great way to try food that maybe you have only heard about or combinations of food you have never had..It is all SO DELICIOUS.
I also think that at $50 per person for 4 courses, it's a great deal for a celebration or special night out.
The staff is always awesome too..last time we had David..he said he has worked there 5 years and it shows, his knowledge was flawless. From the minute you turn off the road onto the private drive you will be delighted.

“Surprised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2008

After hearing about the quality of this place for years, we finally ate dinner here. I was surprised by how delicious the entire meal was, all 4 of us had excellent meals, from start to finish. Certainly as good as Bistro Vatel and now better than Biga. Not so convenient to get to, but worth the trip.
