“Bean cups do rule here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

We visited the Teka Molino #2 on Rittiman Road. We loved the bean cups, the guacamole cups, carne guisado taco and the best green chicken enchilada!! You can not get this quality of food at reasonable prices anywhere else. The service is quick and friendly. The two hot sauces are excellent .
We were here for breakfast and could order anything from the menu. What a bonus!

“Great food but don't go there expect your food anytime soon.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Showed up at 2:15 in the afternoon after the lunch rush on a Saturday and we ordered 2 combos (Nona's plate and the puffy tacos). Now this is important: it's an order at the counter, pick up your own food no-frills supposedly quick serve place. The reality: no concept of food service. It took over 30 minutes to get our food with a terrible explanation for the wait: one dish took longer than the other. The problem? Clearly they started both dishes at the same time so that when we got our order one was good and the puffy tacos were a soggy mess. When I asked, they said it would be another 10 minutes to make another order because they were working on other orders now. Are you freaking kidding me???? So we ate soggy puffy tacos and will almost definitely go back even though the food (other than the puffy taco shells) was rather excellent, eapecially for its price.

Please learn about food prep timing techniques and customer service. Thanks.

“Hidden gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012 via mobile

Teak is a hole in the wall gem! Great puffy tacos, guacamole cups, and bean rolls. Been going for years with the family. Really good food and family run. Is a little high for SA tex mex but its worth it. Only draw back, no waitress. You still can't beat it!

“This place is authentic and unique - you gotta go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

Teka Molina used to be nearby it's current location with a screened in kitchen and outdoor picnic tables for dining. The "new" location is simple and the food is unique and the best. The aroma of their refritos sends me back at least 40 years and their mole is just the best. You can't pick a bad item on this menu. This is the place to go in SA for your Tex-Mex "fix".

“Best tasting unusual mexican food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2012

Very different mexican food that is great. You can order a la carte which we usually do. Bean rolls, quacamole cups, small little tacos, chalupas, enchilladas, puffy tacos, etc. The masa they use to make their tortilla products is the best you will ever eat. The refried beans in the bearn rolls are delicious. The meat in the small tacos is just a finger sized rolled up piece of beef and is great. It's not a chain restaurant and is a very small place but well worth the visit. Very reasonable prices.
