“just as good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2012

Living in the UK I don't get to visit this place very often but pizza is my favourite and this is a must if in town. I was last here 6 months ago and it was just as I remembered and delivered at every level, friendly staff, great food at a fantastic price. It is not pretentious in any way. The satff know they have a good product and have very little to do to improve. Until I am proved different, best pizza ever, have to go back again before I set off across the pond. If you like pizza you'll love this.

“East Coast Slice In The Midwest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2012

This place rocked! Not only was this a slice from back home (though the Philly Cheese Steak wasn't close, it was a nice effort), but the people here were super friendly, and there's a drive through pick up window! Classic! One of the best things about San Antonio that's not on the Riverwalk.

“Great pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2011

This is a place the locals, including the police (always a good indication of good food), turn up to eat in large numbers. It's an eat in, outdoor, take away and drive through. Go in order at the counter to stay or go. The service as very good the food just as good and busy the whole time we were there. A constant stream of youngsters from the local college so obviously good value for money. We had a large 5 topping pizza and a chef salad to share both. The salad was huge and very tasty, couldn't fault the pizza or finish it. It was just as good the next day on a picnic. There is a good supply of take away boxes if you cant finish the meal and you just help youself. Good to get away from the chain franchises like pizza hut etc, a must try.

“Great Surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

Our family was on vacation in San Antonio and staying downtown. We headed for the San Antonio zoo and decided to find a place to eat on the way. Main St Pizza caught our eye, and then our hearts. The food was great especially the lasagna. The prices were very reasonable. I wish we had a Main St Pizza at home. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

“Love the white pizza. Good prices and pleasant service, comfy place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2011

My kids LOVE this place (8, 13, and 19) and it doesn't break the bank. Love the white pizza, I am not a pizza fan but this is awesome. Love to go there when the kids want pizza because there are other options besides pizza. Pasta specials are always a good deal and servings are generous.

It's kind of corny but I get a kick out of the constant Dean Martin and the like playing on the sound system, and the outdoor patio is pretty roomy too.

Good options for party food too, with the option to get their extra large pizzas and feed a bunch of people. From pizza to pastas, it's a pretty good value for the money.

Ice tea is always fresh (a big pet peeve of mine) and service has always been pleasant. My spouse works for a pizza chain and this is such a nice alternative to THAT option, if you know what I mean!
