“Good food and busy place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Rosario's was busy on a Wednesday evening. I was with a large group (20+) and the service was efficient. We had a wide variety of appetizers, and I had several choices to choose from as a vegetarian for my meal. The Enchiladas Mexicanos were excellent!

“Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

We were in San Antonio only one night so we had to make it count. Rosario's did not disappoint. The food was excellent as was the service. Next time I am in town I will be back.

“Mexican your mother dreams about”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We were at a conference and, like others, met several locals and had to ask where they ate. Two of the three said Rosario's. Rosario's is 4 or five blocks from the Hilton on the Riverwalk and well worth the walk. Food was far better than the Mexican (Texas style Mexican) we associate with Mexican food throughout the US. There may be better food in San Antonio but this restaurant is my favorite so far. Food had nuances of flavor not found elsewhere. wanted to buy a cookbook but was told the recipies were secrets of the family. Efficient service, good margaritas, fairly priced.

“Great Mexican food in a Tex Mex town.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

I was informed of this restaurant by Hispanic friends and checked Tripadvisor and saw it was ranked 28th of 1600 restaurants. We visited on valentines day about 5:30 and was not crowded yet but within an hour the line had formed. The food we all had was very good and flavorful and the price was very reasonable. This is about a mile from downtown but walkable.

“Great- away from crowded Riverwalk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

I hate eating on the Riverwalk especially outside where people are constantly walking by. A limo driver told us about Rosario's, 910 S. Alamo. Saturday night he said get there early to avoid wait. He was right. We had fajitas and margaritas. Reasonable price and very good. Their chips and salsa was different, I think the salsa had mole in it. Very good. By the time we left, about 7:00, there was a wait. Enjoyed it and it was a nice pleasant walk back to our hotel, the O'Brien.
