“Great Cajun Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

If you love Cajun Food then this would one of the best places to come in San Antonio. It had a good variety of different type of food. I especially loved the fries. Also, the atmosphere is good and the prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely recommend it.

“Love that Cajun Cooking!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

Over the years this restaurant delivers great Cajun fare consistently.
If you want to get a good idea of the numerous favors and textures available, try the Cajun Sampler. This selection provides nice servings of gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish étouffée and red beans and rice. The cornbread is tasty and the biscuits and honey make for a superb dessert.
Seafood is the specialty here so don't go if you want something else.

“Chicken and Dumplings are great!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

I often dine at Acadiana Cafe in San Antonio and the chicken and dumplings along with the fried chicken livers a very good. Acadiana has changed their molasses and the new molasses taste funny. They do not use real Riverboat molasses. Please change back to the original molasses.

“Acadiana has something great for everyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

If you're into Cajun food, Acadiana has it all, with variety that will make sure all Cajun food lovers in your group is satisfied. However, if like us, you're not a big Cajun food enthusiast, you still will be more than satisfied with the numerous selections of everything from mouth-watering catfish and shrimp to chicken fried steak, pork chops, Frenchie's steak, and lots more. What we love is the superior selection of side dishes, over twenty! Of course, there are plenty of appetizer and salad choices, as well. But beyond the plethora of choices in food and drink, what you're really interested in is the quality and taste of the food. We have never ordered anything that wasn't absolutely delicious, and consistently so. Take a native's advice and give Acadiana a try. You will be glad that you did. And btw, it's a great place for families, as there's also a great kids menu, and kids under 6 eat free (one free kids meal with each adult entree purchased). You won't be disappointed at Acadiana!

“Everyone found something”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2012

We all found something we liked and not real busy. Good prices.
My son had a chief salad, we had different samples of fired pickles and such. Seafood is good.
