“BEST happy hour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

Landry's has great live music (smooth jazz). Talented musicians and so entertaining. We couldn't have asked for better service in the bar area. Daily happy hour with real happy hour prices. The place was packed and everyone was having so much fun they stayed open an extra hour.

“An exception”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Most Landry-owned restaurants are lacking in quality and service. Fortunately this restaurant on the River Walk is an exception. Entrees and sides were flavorful and well prepared. Very professional, courteous staff.

“Excellent service, great hospitality and great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

This is a great place right by the river that can cater to large business groups.
The service and hospitality was great.
It is the perfect place to hide from the crowd of the river walk.
The appetizers were excellent. Presentations , fabulous.
Loved their shrimp cocktail in the martini glass. Crab and spinach dip excellent. Must have the seafood stuffed jalapeños, very fresh, hot and perfect.
For entree, the sea bass topped with crawfish étouffée was very good, excellent combination and flavor.
The lobster tail was cooked perfect, moist and very flavorful.
The seasonal salad topped with salmon was very fresh. Salmon had a great taste. We also had the same salad topped with butterflied shrimps ( perfect!).
The wedge salad was huge, enough for at least 2 people.
Must have the bread pudding for desert with the Frangelico.
Drinks were good.
Ribeye was flavorful and tender.
Great place and amazing service.

“Always good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

We usually make a point to eat at Landry's at least once when we're in San Antonio. (They closed the Dallas location.) The service is always attentive and the food is always good.

“Pricey but Tasty with Great Service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

Wife and I took a walk along the river walk, a great way to waste to time, and went hungry for dinner time. Walk in on a Sunday evening. So we always strive to try a “non-chain” restaurant, but decided to give this one a try as it was not a chain from the mid-west. Surprisingly everything was really well prepared. We had a fried calamari for appetizer, and wife commented on the way that it was cooked was near perfection. She had the Large Panna Mahi with Firecracker topping, I had the Swordfish with a baked potato. There lemon sauce for the swordfish was awesome and well as the firecracker. My only complaint was the portion for the Swordfish. We split a coke and half a Banana Fosters “DELICIOUS” dessert and coffee. Total $85 minus tip. We had an indoor seat by the window and people watched. Great service and atmosphere. I recommend, just be prepared to pay for the white table cloths. ;) Thanks for reading, if it helped give a thumbs up!
