On our way from the San Antonio Airport to our hotel by the Riverwalk, my Texas resident son took us to Willie's for lunch. He said, "Mom, you have to order their turkey mushroom burger!" Certainly glad that I took his advice, as it was delicious! Was a bit confused about their policy of paying for your food after you finish your meal, as in most similarly-styled places in California, you pay after ordering. Later got the feeling that this setup was to possibly ensure that our "food bringer" was more certain to get a tip...? The cute-funky decor in the place provides much for your eyes to feast upon, even an upside down pool table suspended from the ceiling! We chose to sit indoors as it was a very hot day, but there was adequate outdoor seating under shady trees. If you are a fan of turkey mushroom burgers, this ranks right up there at the top of the tastebud list, at least it did mine!
