We went to the Little Rhein for a "less expensive" steakhouse experience. I had dined here about 5 years and had a very positive experience so recommended it to my colleagues. Well, it was a warm night we requested water when the waitress came to get our cocktail order. She came back with bread, no water, and no butter. We requested water again and butter. She returned with butter but still no water??? The food is mediocre at best. My tomato salad was made with tastless hot house tomatoes that were a bit mushy. ,,,Steer clear of the petite filet/shrimp combo, the "filet" was about 1/4 inch thick and unflavorful, (better filets can be had at some big box stores), and the shrimp were large and firm, and bland. The NY strip steak was OK but not worth the price. The location on the terrace was enjoyable, the live music next door was a great.
