“Great food and prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Delightful breakfast in this charming old home. Wish we had room for the huge pastries located in the bakery.

Great prices and great food! You can't go wrong here.

“One of the fluffiest and tastiest pancakes ever !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

The pancakes are as big as your plate, so I only got a 2 stack, and that was plenty. Daily they have pancake/waffle flavor specials along with traditional. Their biscuits they set in a basket on your table are literally mouth watering. They do serve lunch, but B-fast was so good I recommend going for that. They have a bakery as well, but we were too full.
Friendly staff as well. The home has lovely features, such as the stained glass windows. Do go to all floors(restaurant on bottom floor and outside) there is a lovely museum, and a really nice gift shop featuring the flour products from the historical working flour mill behind. After eating, walk along the historic King William Boulevard and view the beautiful mansions and cottages.

“A Perfect Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

The setting is incredible, and the restaurant itself is charming.

When we arrived the parking lot did not seem very full, but don't let that fool you. There are trolley's dropping tourists off regularly and it was crowded. We waited a long time, but it was so worth it. The restaurant has coffee and water available free while you wait which was nice.

When we got in we ordered the special that included biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs, sausage and bacon and potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious!

This is a perfect place to go for brunch with family and friends and I can't wait until I'm back in San Antonio and can visit again.
