“Great treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2014

Visiting family in San Antonio. The six of us went here. So many great meals to choose from. All portions were huge. I got the eggplant with shrimp and angel hair pasta forget the name. Outstanding! All six of were raving about what we got. Four full boxes got taken home for tomorrow's lunch. Not crowed at all. Not noisy either. We all said this was a great find.

“Just purchased a gift card by phone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

We didn't actually eat here but made a reservation for someone else and purchased a gift card via phone which was waiting for them upon arrival. So I can't speak to the food, but the service in arranging all of that was excellent.

“Good Oysters”

My family enjoys this place. Great fried oysters and calamari. Service is good and the atmosphere is low key.

“Excellent food, excellent service, very nice environment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

Having eaten at this restaurant twice (lunch & dinner), it's easy to say this is definitely one of the best in San Antonio, especially for moderately priced seafood. Nice selection of both grilled and fried seafood, as well as chicken and steak dishes & a nice assortment of salads. The grilled salmon was very flavorful as was the blackened catfish. Both come with rice or potatoes plus veggies or substitutions can be made from the other side dish choices. My husband substituted coleslaw instead of the rice pilaf and said it was some of the best coleslaw he had tasted. We had to try the bread pudding since there are so many positive comments on Trip Advisor about this. Without a doubt, it's one of the best bread puddings we've had. Not only is the serving very generous, but the syrup is not too sweet and the scoop of ice cream on the top does not immediately melt all over the pudding... it's very firm. Our server, Ryan, was very attentive and it was especially nice to talk to the owner, Charlie, who actually brought the entrees to our table. This place has everything going for it... let's hope they succeed!
