“Nice running/biking trails”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

Great parking for running/biking. Many trails and loops - trail also connects to Salado Creek Greenway. Great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday. It's crowded, but not so much that you can't run/walk at your own pace.

“A great place for kids to play and be kids.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

When our granddaughter comes to our house one of the first things she asks for is a trip to "Hamburger" Park. She can't pronounce the name but she know what she wants, a trip to Hardberger Park. She loves to run from one play area to another. From the swings to the climbing toys, to the slide, and on and on. She has to try each of the play areas numerous times. There is a rubber like material under all of the children's play toys as well as the walk way between each area to help keep the children safe as they run back and forth. A recent addition to the swing area is a swing designed for special needs children so that they can swing and yet be safe. There is a separate area of the park for dogs so that owners can get out with their pet and enjoy the park. The jogging/walking trail is paved and seems to go on for miles. There is a nature center with exhibits and handouts available, and there are restroom facilities that are decent and clean. There is also security in the park that roams around to insure the safety of all attending. Weekends this park is quite popular and parking is a problem.

“Dog attack”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Please be careful with your dogs at this park. On Sunday, 8/11/13, my dog was brutally attacked by a larger dog. The dog owner refused to give me her information, wouldn't take responsibility for the actions of her dog, and didn't help with the situation at all. My dog was nearly killed by her dog.

If you happened to witness this event and know who the owner of the dog was, please contact me at 210.305.1646.

“Great Trails”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

A relatively new park in San Antonio that links up with other trails in the area. The park had a great area for children to play and an area dedicated for dogs. The trails are great for biking, running, walking, and hiking. Nice scenery along the way.
